According to the news, the rapper Nas has slammed today’s music industry, for the lack of creativity in the hip-hop, rock and R&B field. Nas has named his first release on the Def Jam label ‘Hip Hop Is Dead’ and believes modern radio is to be blame for today situation when the singers are failing to take their music to the next level.

Actually we can say that Nas has join rappers like Xzibit, who decided that is time for him to take on the unofficial role of rap ambassador and Ice Cube, who slams modern Hip-Hop/Rap commercialism.
